At approximately 7:15pm ACT Fire & Rescue responded to a fire at the Abode Apartments in Gungahlin.
Firefighters extinguished a fire that had been caused by a microwave.
No occupants were injured.
The apartment complex is currently being ventilated.
ACT Fire & Rescue advise that ventilation of the complex is expected to take a further 30 minutes.
