The ACT Emergency Services Agency warns Canberra residents to expect extreme weather conditions this afternoon (9 January 2018).
Heavy rain and hail is expected to fall.
The public is advised to drive to conditions. If it's flooded, forget it. If driving becomes too difficult pull over safely to the side of the road and wait until conditions improve.
