ACT Fire and Rescue has extinguished a balcony fire in Melba.
Crews were called to the Keats Place home at 5:06pm and arrived to find the 8 metre balcony alight.
Quick work from firefighters, as well as the residents of the home and their neighbours, ensured fire was contained to the balcony.
Initial estimates put the damage bill at approximately 10 thousand dollars.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
