ACT Fire & Rescue has extinguished a fire in the Belconnen town centre.
Crews were alerted to the incident on Chandler Street at 2:07pm when an automatic fire alarm was triggered.
On arrival, firefighters discovered a blaze in the laundry of the building and quickly extinguished it.
Occupants have all been evacuated and ACT Fire & Rescue hazmat teams are conducting atmospheric monitoring to ensure the building is safe before allowing people back inside.
