Crews are continuing to respond to storm related jobs with requests for assistance reaching 834.
The additional calls this afternoon are due to tree damage and more branches falling as a result of winds across the capital of 30km/h, gusting up to 40km/h. Residents are urged to be careful in parks and when walking along foot paths.
Close to 350 jobs have been completed. The ACT State Emergency Service would like to thank the public for their patience while crews respond to the volume of jobs.
ACT State Emergency Service volunteers are working with ACT Fire & Rescue, ACT Rural Fire Service and Transport Canberra and City Services.
No injuries have been reported. For emergency storm help ring the ACTSES on 132 500. For life threatening situations call Emergency Triple Zero (000).
