Storm and Flood Assistance
Additional resources have been called in to help deal with the impact of a storm that struck Canberra late this afternoon.
The ACT State Emergency Service has received a total of 500 calls for help as a result.
The ACTSES is responding to the calls with help from ACT Fire & Rescue, ACT Rural Fire Service and Transport Canberra and City Services.
ACT Fire & Rescue crews are also attending priority one calls including fallen power lines, large trees that have come down, motor vehicle crashes and automatic fire alarms in commercial buildings.
