ACT Fire & Rescue (ACTF&R) and ACT Ambulance Service are currently on the scene of a chemical leak in Fyshwick.
Crews were alerted to the incident on Whyalla Street just after 10am.
Firefighters arrived to find that a pallet of undiluted pool chemical cartons had started to leak while being unloaded.
ACTF&R evacuated around 30 people in total from the premises and adjoining businesses.
Crews are now determining the source within the pallet of cartons and containing the area.
Paramedics have not been required to assess anyone.
Two pumpers, Hazmat, BA Support Van and two Commanders have attended.
