Gas leak in Greenway

ACT Fire & Rescue (ACTF&R) have attended a gas leak at a construction site in Greenway.

Crews were called to the scene of a ruptured gas pipe on the corner of Oakden Street and Anketell Street just after 9:46am.

Around 50 people self evacuated from the scene.

ACTF&R have clamped the pipe with gas authorities now working to repair it.

Two pumpers, Hazmat unit and Commander have attended.
