Storm and Flood Assistance
A woman was transported by ACTAS to The Canberra Hospital for smoke inhalation overnight after an apartment was heavily damaged by fire on Badimara Street in Fisher.
She was the only person evacuated. The fire caused total roof collapse and significant damage to part of the building.
Firefighters responded to the fire by deploying three pumpers, two commanders, bronto and the breathing apparatus van. A single pumper will remain at the scene overnight.
