ACT Fire & Rescue and ACT Rural Fire Service are working to extinguish a grass fire that is now under control at Holt.
The Bushfire Alert and Warning Level for this fire has been set at ADVICE.
ACT Fire & Rescue and ACT Rural Fire Service has four tankers and a water bombing helicopter working at the scene.
The fire is located on the Strathnairn property on Stockdill Drive. The fire has burnt approximately 35 hectares and is posing no threat to property.
The Bureau of Meteorology has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for the ACT and surrounding NSW. Destructive winds, large hail and heavy rain are expected.
The ACT State Emergency Service has placed units on standby ready to respond to any call outs which may occur.
