A fire which has burned at Parkwood in West Belconnen since Friday has kept nine crew members from ACTF&R working through the night.
The crew members have worked to turn the large, smoulding pile over with excavators and bulldozers while a Commander has been actively containing the fire.
While the fire continues to be contained it is expected ACTF&R will remain on site at Parkwood into the early stages of next week.
