The size of the waste pile at the Canberra Concrete Recyclers has reduced considerably and ACT Fire & Rescue Crews and Parks Brigade are continuing to work to extinguish the fire.
Two excavators are being used to pull the pile apart and that work is expected to continue for several days.
Fire Crews will remain at the site overnight.
