Cyclist struck by kangaroo

A cyclist is in a stable condition after being hit by a kangaroo on Adelaide Avenue this evening.

ACT Ambulance Service was called to the incident just before 7pm.

Intensive care paramedics treated the woman at the scene before transporting her to The Canberra Hospital.

The woman, in her early 40s, suffered abrasions.
