Update - 19 calls for help following wet weather

The ACT State Emergency Service (ACTSES) has now received a total of 19 calls for help since 2pm yesterday following the wet weather.

ACTSES volunteers and ACT Fire & Rescue crews have responded with minor damage reported mostly from leaking roofs.

There have been two calls for help with fallen trees causing minor damage.

Calls have been mostly across Canberra's southern suburbs.

Residents who require storm or flood assistance can call the ACTSES on 132 500.
