Update - Electrical smell in city office building

Fire crews have detected the cause of the electrical smell using thermal imaging equipment.

The cause of the smell was from an airconditioning motor.

A number of people were safely evacuated and are now returning to the 11 floor office block.

No injuries reported.

Crews were alerted by an automatic fire alarm at 9:13am.
