2:50pm Thursday 4 August 2011 - Two hazards reduction burns in the ACT tomorrow

The Territory and Municipal Services Directorate will tomorrow conduct hazard reduction burns at Hall and Tuggeranong Hill.

The burn at Hall will occur near Hoskins Street and Alexandra Street and involves an area of approximately 1.3 hectares.

The ACT Handy Map grid reference point for the burn is J9.

The burn on Tuggeranong Hill will occur on the corner of Drakeford Drive and Tharwa Drive Calwell and involves and area of approximately 9 hectares.

The ACT Handy Map grid reference point for the burn is K15.
